My name is Zach Beers, and I’ve always loved the outdoors. My connection to nature has shaped the way I see the world.
I’m an environmental science student based in Missouri, working throughout the Midwest and the Ozarks. My background in conservation and outdoor education is a result of my deep interest in people’s relationships with the natural world. I am drawn to the ways different communities understand, rely on, protect, and interact with their environments through research, recreation, industry, and innovation.
Through photography, I aim to tell those stories. I want to highlight the human effort behind conservation and explore how culture, perspective, and place shape the way we experience nature.
